Last weekend, I went to a Japanese festival in my city. The festival was awesome.
I took some photos:
1 - Kimonos: During the event, people could wear the kimonos or buy them. If a person wanted to wear a kimono, photographers were there in order to take photos of him/her (sorry about the white pole in front of the red kimono, but it was the best angle).
2 - Origami: A exhibitor was showing some swans in origami art, below them, there are "good luck amulets" (according to the exhibitor), that were made with original yen coins.
3 - Dance: A typical Japanese dance occurred in the end. It was very good, because after the original performance, the audience could participate.
Cool! It was a piece of Japan in my country. I hope to watch more festivals like that...
